While we truly enjoy connecting with our couples, all visits to Gover Ranch are strictly by appointment only. This policy ensures your safety, the privacy of our scheduled events, and allows us to provide every guest with our full attention. Unscheduled visitors will be asked to leave the property.
Tours last between 15-30 minutes. We know that the Ranch is a bit of a drive, but we ask our couples to plan accordingly, we often schedule many tours after each other and to protect timing we ask you to arrive on time, or no more than 10 minutes before your tour. Gates may be closed but will not be closed more than 10 minutes before arrival. The tour will involve walking the grounds, and showings of both bridal suites.
Absolutely! We encourage you to take photos throughout the tour—it’s a great way to document and revisit your favorite spaces during the planning process.
We ask you to park in the parking lot, when you first enter the iron gates the parking lot will be to your right, just before the barn.
We require at least a $1,500 non-refundable deposit to secure a date. No date is officially secured and is still considered available until a deposit is placed.
We accept cash, checks, or credit/debit cards through your HoneyBook client portal. Within the portal, you can also opt to set up automatic payments for convenience.
We can host 200 guests although not all areas (ie the barn) can hold that capacity. Due to this discounted months are set to a 150 guest capacity.
The venue gates open at 8:00 AM, and the bridal suite will be available at that time for preparation and décor setup.
The groom’s suite opens at 10:00 AM.
Both suites must be cleared of personal belongings no later than two hours after your ceremony concludes.

Yes, we offer:
- 20 round banquet tables, seating 8 comfortably (up to 10 if needed)
- 200 white resin folding chairs
Yes! A 1-hour rehearsal slot is included and typically scheduled the Friday before your event. In rare cases (such as a Thursday wedding), we will offer an alternate time that same week.
Note: On-site rehearsal dinners are not permitted. However, we’re happy to recommend local restaurants upon request. Alcohol is not allowed during rehearsals

In case of inclement weather either the week of and/or the day of ceremonies are moved to the barn. If your reception is also scheduled there, our team will collaborate with you to create a seamless layout and timeline for both.
No, our pricing varies based on the day of the week and season. Please refer to your pricing brochure for detailed information.
Yes. During discounted months, while ceremonies may be held outdoors (weather permitting), receptions must be held indoors in the barn due to high/low temperatures. The ceremony may still take place outside. Reception however is required to take place inside the barn during those months.
Yes, as you may know Gover Ranch in Anderson, in northern California. We often have a long, dry fire season. We understand that sparklers and other practices may seem common, but depending on weather and local restrictions we can not always guarantee the right to use a sparklers for a send off. Sole Discretion to Gover Ranch and this decision can be made up until the day of.
Yes. There will be at least one Gover Ranch staff member on-site throughout your event, as well as a parking attendant present one hour before the ceremony to assist guests.
The only requirement is for bartending services, which must be chosen from our approved vendor list for insurance and liability reasons.
All other vendors are up to your discretion. We provide a trusted vendor list as a courtesy to help streamline your planning.
