By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions of Use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Site. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Gover Ranch Events ("we," "us," or "our").

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1. Description of the Site

The Site provides information about Gover Ranch, a family-owned wedding and private event venue in Shasta County, California, near Redding. It includes details on our gardens, historic barn, bridal and groom suites, pricing overviews, testimonials, and resources for planning weddings or events. The Site facilitates inquiries and tour scheduling through integrated tools like HoneyBook. It is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an offer to enter into a contract.

2. Eligibility and Acceptance of Terms

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

3. Use of the Site

Permitted Use

You may use the Site to:

  • View information about our venue, including photos, descriptions, and FAQs.
  • Submit inquiries or schedule tours via the contact form or HoneyBook integration.
  • Access resources like vendor recommendations or planning guides.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.

  • Visit the physical property without an appointment—tours and visits are strictly by appointment only. Unscheduled visitors will be asked to leave.

Any violation may result in immediate termination of access and potential legal action.

4. Inquiries and Bookings

  • Inquiries submitted via the Site (e.g., tour requests) are subject to our Privacy Policy and will be processed through HoneyBook, which sends automated responses.
  • Scheduling a tour or event does not guarantee availability. A non-refundable deposit (minimum $1,500 for weddings) is required to secure dates.
  • Payments are accepted via HoneyBook (cash, check, credit/debit). Automatic payments may be set up for convenience.
  • All bookings are governed by separate event contracts, not these Terms. Review our FAQs for details on capacity (up to 200 guests; 150 for discounted months), vendor policies, and other requirements.

5. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content (text, images, videos, logos, etc.) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by U.S. copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

  • Personal Use: You may download or print content for non-commercial, personal use only.
  • Attribution: Any permitted use must include attribution to Gover Ranch.
  • We respect third-party rights; if you believe content infringes your rights, contact us at goverranchevents@gmail.com.

6. User Content

If you submit content (e.g., testimonials, photos via inquiry forms), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and promote it. You represent that your content does not violate third-party rights and is accurate.

In no event shall we be liable for weather-related issues, vendor performance, or event outcomes.
